The Toddler Sense.

It is a gift given to all toddlers, though it presents itself uniquely in each. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

We know it is there because they instinctively know when one of the baby proofing locks has been left undone. Beware the #twinados. There is no storm warning for when they will strike. They come on suddenly and quickly leaving only destruction and chaos in it’s wake. There is no safe place to hide, and there is no hope of rescue. This happened today. That black/brown stuff is Worcestershire sauce. Do you know how lovely that smell is?  It is a mix between pickle juice and fermenting fruit. ((Shudder))

This is why we have no nice things. Why pay for something beautiful and new when it will only be seen as a challenge to the #Gwenado, and her successors the #twinados soon to be followed by the #dragonbaby. Please enjoy these lovely looks at my daily life. These have all happened in the last month or so. No wonder I am so tired.

I just want to add, that these spaces were clean (mostly, don’t judge) before the destruction and chaos bringers arrived.

I love them, I love them, I love them, bedtime will be here soon…By the way,

Wade: 12

Mom: 0

(I think he is in secret training to become special forces or something. This kid is seriously amazing in his escape tactics. He might also be the Boss Baby…just saying)

I Live in the glorious state of Texas and I am the Mother of 6. As such I enjoy reading, leisurely walks, quiet time, sleeping all night and sleeping in, naps, and watching a full episode of any show without having to pause. Which means I have another 18 years, at least, before any of these things happen. I am ok with that (mostly, I could really go for a nap).
